Good Times and Bad Decisions!
Updated: Sep 27, 2022
We meet in 2013 and married in 2014. That year was insane. We had so much fun, traveled all over the world, drank way too much, smoked too much, made a lifetime of memories. It was a year of no responsibilities and pure fun. I introduced my oldest son, Tristan, to Lana, (or as Lana described herself, his new bonus mom and we all went on a trip to Disneyworld in Orlando, Florida along with Lana's cousin/best friend, AKA, Cuzo. We had a such a blast and went on all the rides and the Harry Potter rides several times. This basically seemed to set the theme for our relationship at that time. Good times and bad decisions. There were many memories and as many hangovers. Tristan and Lana got on great which was awesome to see. There is something to be said about having the opportunity to be free of responsibility, freedom of movement and a little bit of cash in one's pocket to help pave the way! We had the once in a lifetime opportunity to road trip from Florida to Seattle over about 5 weeks thanks to the family we had worked for on the yachts. We made the cross country trek nothing less than a good old U-Haul truck! I am sure our names and reputations are still plastered on the floors of some of the bars we wen to! It should not have surprised us that every boat job after that experience felt dull, boring and a major effort to do and is probably one of the major reasons we did not last long after that! We worked a few jobs until deciding to move back to the Seattle area indefinitely.
